In June 2017, the Lampung Composite CPI experienced an
increase in the index from 130.81 in May 2017 to 131.50 in June 2017, resulting
in inflation of 0.53 percent.
Based on calculations, inflation for the calendar year
(point to point) in June 2017 was 2.49 percent, and inflation year on year
(yoy) in June 2017 was 4.91 percent.
Of the seven expenditure groups, six groups
experienced inflation, namely the foodstuffs group rose 0.42 percent; the
prepared food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco group rose 0.01 percent;
housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group rose 1.08 percent; clothing
group rose 0.35 percent; the education, recreation and sports group rose 0.01
percent; and the transportation, communications and financial services group
rose 0.89 percent. On the other hand, one group experienced deflation, namely
the health group, which fell by 0.06 percent.
