In
February 2017, the Lampung Composite CPI experienced an increase in the index
from 129.36 in January 2017 to 130.06 in February 2017, resulting in inflation
of 0.54 percent.
Based
on calculations, inflation for the calendar year (point to point) in February
2017 was 1.36 percent, and inflation year on year (yoy) in February 2017 was
4.23 percent.
Of the
seven expenditure groups, five groups experienced inflation, namely the
foodstuffs group which rose 0.10 percent; the prepared food, beverages, cigarettes
and tobacco group rose 0.68 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel
group rose 1.09 percent; health group rose 0.01 percent; and the
transportation, communications and financial services group rose 0.78 percent.
On the other hand, one group experienced deflation, namely the clothing group
which fell by 0.10 percent, while the education, recreation and sports group
did not experience a change in the index.
