April
2017, the Lampung Composite CPI experienced a decline in the index from 129.93
in March 2017 to 129.66 in April 2017, resulting in deflation of 0.21 percent.
Based
on calculations, inflation for the calendar year (point to point) in April 2017
was 1.06 percent, and inflation year on year (yoy) in April 2017 was 4.26
percent.
Of the
seven expenditure groups, four groups experienced inflation, namely the
housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group, which rose 1.13 percent;
clothing group rose 0.25 percent; health group rose 0.04 percent; and the
education, recreation and sports group rose 0.01 percent. On the other hand,
the group experienced deflation, namely the foodstuffs group which fell 1.97
percent; while the ready-made food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco groups
experienced a decline of 0.13 percent; and the transportation, communications
and financial services group fell 0.03 percent
