West Lampung, November 04, 2024 - The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of West Lampung Regency held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) of the One Data Forum of Lampung Barat Regency on Recommendations for Statistical Activities (Romantik) and Metadata Statistics in the Kagungan Hall of the West Lampung Regency Government, which was attended by all local Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD). The event was opened directly by the Regent of Lampung Barat, showing the district government's strong commitment to strengthening sectoral statistical data in the region.
In his speech, the Regent of Lampung Barat, Drs. Nukman, MM, emphasized that the One Data Forum is very important in an effort to improve the quality of decision-making and the implementation of better sectoral statistics in Lampung Barat. He added that the results of the Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics in 2024 in the form of the Statistics Implementation Index (IPS) must be a guideline for all DPOs to improve the performance of sectoral statistics.
Then the material was given by the Head of BPS of Lampung Barat Regency, Ir. Nasrullah Arsyad, MM, who in his presentation explained the importance of strengthening the One Data Indonesia (SDI) Forum through the submission of statistical activity recommendations (Romantik) and relevant statistical metadata. He also conveyed the results of the Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics (EPSS) in 2024 to the Lampung Barat Health Office and Environmental Service, as a concrete step to improve the quality of sectoral data.
On this occasion, the EPSS results report was also handed over to the Regent of Lampung Barat and the EPSS charter to the relevant OPDs, as a form of appreciation for their performance in organizing sectoral data that meets the standards.
