The Head of BPS of Lampung Barat Regency, Ir. Nasrullah Arsyad, M.M held an audience with the Regional Secretary of Pesisir Barat Regency, Drs. Jon Edwar, M.Si. in the Regional Secretary's office, Pesisir Barat Local Government Office Complex. Accompanying the Secretary at the meeting, which lasted for almost an hour, were the Head of the Food Security Service, the Head of the Trade MSME Cooperative Service and the Head of Economic Affairs.

On that occasion, the Head of BPS of Lampung Barat Regency, whose working area still includes Pesisir Barat Regency, reported the price development index (IPH) figure of Pesisir Barat Regency, which in the last 5 weeks has become the highest out of 15 regencies/cities in Lampung Province. The commodities that contributed the most to the high inflation proxy rate in Pesisir Barat Regency were rice, chicken meat, cayenne pepper and cooking oil.
