Lampung Barat, November 22, 2024 - Statistics Indonesia (BPS) of Lampung Barat Regency held an evaluation and briefing activity related to the data collection of the ASF Maize survey in 2024. This event took place on Friday, November 22, 2024, at the Rusli B.ST Hall Office.
This activity was attended by survey officers in charge of data collection of the 2024 ASF Maize KSA. The main agenda of this event included evaluation of the ongoing survey implementation, identification of field obstacles, and provision of technical guidance to ensure the smoothness and accuracy of the data collected.
The Head Office expressed his appreciation for the dedication of the survey officers. The ASF Maize survey activity is an important part in supporting the provision of quality statistical data for development planning, especially in the agricultural sector. Therefore, collaboration and thoroughness in every data collection process are needed.
In this briefing, officers were also given additional technical guidance and strategies to overcome challenges that may be encountered in the field. It is expected that the results of the 2024 ASF Maize survey can be the basis for accurate decision-making in supporting national food security.
