Abstract

In November 2016, the Lampung Composite CPI experienced an increase in the index from 126.94 in October 2016 to 127.52 in November 2016, resulting in inflation of 0.46 percent.

Based on calendar year inflation calculations (point to point), November 2016 experienced inflation of 2.15 percent, and year on year (yoy) inflation in November 2016 was 3.29 percent.

Of the seven expenditure groups, five groups experienced inflation, namely the foodstuffs group which rose 1.56 percent; the prepared food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco group rose 0.19 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group rose 0.06 percent; health group rose 0.12 percent; and the transportation, communications and financial services group rose 0.20 percent. On the other hand, the clothing group experienced deflation (down 0.27 percent), and the education, recreation and sports group fell by 0.02 percent.
