Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of Star Hotels in Bandar Lampung during January 2017 reached 57.19%, up 1.58 points compared to December 2016 which was recorded at 55.61%. ROR for star hotels in January 2017 compared to January 2016 which was recorded at 49.97%, an increase of 7.22 points. The ROR for other accommodation in January 2017 was recorded at 45.15%, down 3.67 points compared to December 2016 which was recorded at 48.82%.

The number of guests during January 2017 who stayed at star hotels and other accommodation (combined) reached 118,363 people, consisting of 292 foreign guests and 118,071 domestic guests. This condition experienced an increase of 6,438 people (5.75%) compared to December 2016 which was recorded at 111,925 people. The number of guests by hotel type at star hotels during January 2017 was 22,641 people, consisting of 202 foreign guests and 22,439 domestic guests. This number increased by 7,183 people (46.47%) compared to December 2016 which was recorded at 15,458 people. Meanwhile, the number of guests during January 2017 who stayed in other accommodation was 95,722 people, consisting of 90 foreign guests and 95,632 domestic guests, a decrease of 745 people or around 0.77% compared to December 2016 which was recorded at 96,467 people.
