During February 2017, the Grain Producer Price Survey
recorded 41 observations. Observations were dominated by the quality grain
group of Harvested Dry Grain (GKP). There were no grain groups of quality
Milled Dry Grain (GKG) and low quality grain.
The highest price for grain at the farmer level
reached Rp. 4,900.00 per kg for GKP quality grain with the IR64 variety found
in Palas District, South Lampung Regency. The lowest grain price reached Rp.
3,800.00 per kg for GKP quality grain, namely the Galur and Cimelati varieties,
found in Purbolinggo District, East Lampung Regency. This price is above the
Government Purchase Price (HPP), which is Rp. 3,700.00 per kg.
At the milling level, the highest price of grain is
IDR. 4,950.00 per kg for GKP quality grain, namely the IR64 variety, found in
Palas District, South Lampung Regency, while the lowest price for grain in the

The price of grain at the farmer and mill level fell
in February. This is due to the arrival of the rice harvest season so that
grain stocks increase from the previous month. The average decrease in the
price of the GKP quality group at the farmer level was 5.84 percent from Rp.
4,507.20 per kg to Rp. 4,244.15 per kg, and at the milling level with the same
quality group it decreased by 5.93 percent from Rp. 4,601.20 per kg to Rp.
4,328.17 per kg.
