Abstract

Lampung's economy in 2016, measured based on Gross Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices, reached IDR 281.11 trillion and GDP per capita reached IDR 34.3 million.

Lampung's economy grew by 5.15 percent, relatively stronger compared to 2015 which grew by 5.13 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Electricity and Gas Procurement business field; and Information and Communication respectively at 22.49 percent and 10.63 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the Gross Fixed Capital Formation (PMTB) component at 8.61 percent, followed by Household Consumption Expenditure at 5.72 percent and Consumption Expenditure for Non-Profit Institutions that serve Households (LNPRT) at 5.56 percent .
