Abstract

The total export value of Lampung Province in December 2016 reached US$386.04 million, an increase of US$10.72 million or 2.85 percent compared to November 2016 exports which were recorded at US$375.32 million. Exports in December 2016, when compared with December 2015 which was recorded at US$290.46 million, increased by US$95.58 million or an increase of 32.90 percent.

The five main categories of goods exported by Lampung Province in December 2016 were animal/vegetable fats & oils, coffee, tea & spices, coal, fish & shrimp and processed fruit/vegetables. The increase in exports in December 2016 compared to November 2016 occurred in three main categories of goods, namely animal/vegetable fats & oils, increasing by 2.56 percent; Coal rose by 23.69 percent; and fish & shrimp rose by 4.05 percent, while exports that experienced a decline were coffee, tea & spices down by 3.32 percent, and processed fruit/vegetables down by 9.46 percent.
