Abstract

In March 2015, the city of Bandar Lampung experienced inflation of 0.48 percent after experiencing deflation for the previous two months. There are five expenditure groups that contribute to inflation in Bandar Lampung City, namely the housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel groups with an inflation contribution of 0.31 percent; processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco group at 0.11 percent; clothing group by 0.05 percent; health group by 0.03 percent; and the education, recreation and sports group at 0.03 percent. Meanwhile, two other groups contributed to holding back the rate of inflation, namely the foodstuffs group at 0.04 percent and the transport, communications and financial services group at 0.01 percent.
