Lampung Barat, 20 November 2024 - The Head Office attended an invitation to the Agricultural Extension Coordination Meeting organized by the Food Crops and Horticulture Office of Lampung Barat Regency. The event took place on Wednesday (20/11) at the Agricultural Extension Center Hall in Pekon Sebarus, Balik Bukit Subdistrict.
This meeting aimed to support the strategic agricultural program which is one of the development priorities in Lampung Barat Regency. In this activity, the Head Office also acted as a resource person, providing insights related to agricultural statistical data as a basis for policy making.
In his presentation, the Head Office emphasized the importance of accurate data to support the planning and evaluation of agricultural programs in the regions. He also explained the strategic role of BPS in providing data that can be used by various stakeholders, including local governments, agricultural extension workers, and farmers.
The event was attended by various parties, including agricultural extension workers, representatives of farmer groups, and related agencies. It is hoped that through good coordination, the agricultural sector in Lampung Barat can further develop, support food security, and improve the welfare of the community.
This meeting marked a concrete step by the local government in strengthening the synergy between statistical data and strategic programs in agriculture, for the advancement of Lampung Barat.
