OPENING OF SAKERNAS WORKERS TRAINING AUGUST 2024

Monday (22/7), the BPS of Lampung Barat Regency held the opening ceremony of the August National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) Workers Training Wave I at the Permata Hotel in Liwa.

Sakernas August Officer Training Gel. I was held for 2 days on July 22-23, 2024 with a total of 21 Field Enumerators (PCl) and 9 Field Examiners (PML).

The National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) is a survey organized by BPS that is specifically designed to collect employment data. Sakernas is conducted twice a year, in February and August. Over the years, Sakernas has undergone various changes in terms of implementation time, estimation level, coverage, methodology, and questionnaire.

The collection of information on the concept of employment based on the 13th International Conference of Labor Statisticians (ICLS) and the 19th ICLS began in Sakernas February 2016. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Sakernas August 2020 to February 2022, information on the concept of employment from ICLS-19 was not collected.
